FF Weekly: Remember When...

It’s been 23 years since FINAL FANTASY TACTICS was first released on June 20, 1997!
To commemorate, FF Weekly is starting the month of June with a look back at a memorable line from character Agrias Oaks, the knight who accompanies FINAL FANTASY TACTICS main character Ramza on his journeys.

“Do you truly think I would doubt you now? You have more than proven yourself!”

When Ramza and friends arrive at the Golgollada Gallows to rescue Princess Ovelia from execution, it turns out to be a trap and Ramza’s true lineage is revealed – he is the youngest son of the noble Beoulve family. Agrias is taken aback, and when she questions Ramza on this, he confirms it to be true but swears he is different from his cruel half-brothers Zalbaag and Dycedarg. Agrias trusts her comrade and responds with the words above, an expression of the bonds they have formed fighting together.

We’re sure this dialogue and the battle it is from are remembered fondly by many FINAL FANTASY TACTICS fans!
