FF Weekly: Remember When...

Mountain Climbing Day is on October 3 in Japan! FINAL FANTASY has a whole range of peaks and to celebrate this mountainous day, we’d like to introduce some that you can climb from across the series!

Dragon’s Peak (FFIII)

Pictured here is the road going up Dragon's Peak, which is said to be the home of a great dragon. At its summit is the nest of the Dragon King Bahamut, where the Warriors of Light meet Desch.

Mt. Nibel (FFVII)

Just north of the city of Nibelheim, Mt. Nibel sits with a distinct spiny rock face, its interior rich with Mako. Five years before the events of FINAL FANTASY VII, Sephiroth, Cloud and others were sent here to investigate an old Mako reactor, and the events that take place there play a big part in the story of the game...

Mt. Gagazet (FFX)

The holy mountain of Yevon that towers before the ruins of Zanarkand. The road that travels up this mountain gets hit with heavy snow storms, blocking the path of summoners on their journey to the Zanarkand ruins.
