FF Weekly: Remember When...

July 2 is Octopus Day in Japan! And we’d like to introduce a character who’s “just a washed-up old octopus?” to commemorate the occasion!

“I feel like such a sucker.”

An octopus with a peculiar manner of speaking. He repeatedly appears in front of FFVI protagonists Terra and friends, attempting to block their path, but the tables always turn on him. During his final battle against our heroes, he pulls out his trump card, “Mr. Typhon,” but still loses. In the world of ruin, he’s been forced to work as a receptionist at the colosseum to pay off his massive debt.
