FF Weekly: Remember When...
Happy holidays from FF Portal! We’re nearing the end of the year and to celebrate, we’d like to share the ways some FINAL FANTASY games celebrate the season this year! These events are sure to get you in the holiday spirit!
FINAL FANTASY XI
FINAL FANTASY XI welcomes back the Starlight Celebration! We’ve got the details to share with you below.

Nab presents held hostage by nefarious goblins!
The moogles are all in a tizzy—goblins have filched some of their most prized presents and furnishings! Have mercy on the little fluff balls and wrest them back for the good of Vana'diel! But don't go unprepared—speak to moogles to hear all about this most devious of plots.
Games for the Willing and Able!
During the Starlight Celebration, special minigames will be available for adventurers to enjoy. Clearing this mini game will grant the winner not only a new sitting emote, but also Starlight Celebration-themed items, synthesis materials for the Orchestrion furnishing, and sheet music key items!
Leaf Bench Emote
Using the Leaf Bench item will grant the bearer a key item that allows him or her to use the leaf bench emote.
Festive Goods for Sale!
Moogles will be selling Dream Hats and Snowman Caps, as well as other Starlight Celebration-themed items throughout the event.
Lend the Moogles a Capable Adventurer's Hand!
The moogles are in need of enthusiastic adventurers to help them distribute presents and seasonal greeting cards. Munificent individuals who lend their aid will be rewarded with delightful items and gift tokens. Speak with a festival moogle to learn the details.
Presents in Exchange for Destructive Behavior!
To show their appreciation to all adventurers for doing their part to make Vana'diel a better place, the moogles have prepared hordes of presents and scattered them around. The presents have each been sealed within a box...and there's only one way to get them out! Starlight Celebration-themed items and gift tokens await lucky adventurers!
Presents in Exchange for Gift Tokens!
Present any gift tokens obtained during the Starlight Celebration to a festival moogle, and you will receive seasonal items in exchange.
The Gift of a Child's Laughter
Throughout the event, smilebringers will be handing out presents to all the children in town. Make lots of children's dreams come true, and something felicitous might just visit you!
Master the Art of Turning Frowns Upside Down!
For the duration of the Starlight Celebration, the participation fee will be waived for the Smilebringer Boot Camp, and adventurers who prove their grit and gaiety will be presented with unique seasonal items.

The Return Home to Vana’diel campaign is also getting underway tomorrow! Ring in the New Year with your fellow adventurers in the land of Altana.

Ties to Remember
In FINAL FANTASY XIV, the Starlight Celebration seasonal event is currently underway through Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 6:59 a.m. (PST)! During the event, cities around FFXIV will be adorned with seasonal decorations, making for an atmosphere full of wintery goodness for all to enjoy! Get rewards like equipment and furniture for completing event quests!

FINAL FANTASY VII EVER CRISIS
The Holy Flame's Gift Now Available!
Event Period: Until Dec. 25 5:59 PM PST
In this event you can view season stories perfect for December and in the new Score Battle, you can earn Event Exchangeable Items based on the damage score you inflict on the boss! Ice Physical Abilities are extremely effective against the boss, so make sure you have Ice Physical Abilities when going into battle.
The Cloud-exclusive weapon ”Holiday Cheer” can be obtained through the Exchange, as a Present or otherwise. By completing the Event Missions, you can acquire items such as the The Holy Flame's Gift Wallpaper!

New Weapon Featured Draw available now!
Barret & Aerith New Weapon and Zack & Matt New Weapon Featured Draws are available now. The Barret-exclusive weapon Microlaser, Aerith-exclusive weapon Snowflake, Zack-exclusive weapon Twinkling Star and Matt-exclusive weapon Bramble Spine come with new support materia attached.
These Support Materia extend the abilities of Cure/Cura to target all allies, making them particularly effective when fighting enemies that attack all allies at once. However, the effect of these Support Materias reduce the restoration amount of Cure/Cura by 40% when applied to all allies.
Also, with the Stamp Card you can obtain the Aerith-Specific gear Fairy of Snowfall and Zack-Specific gear Holiday Suit!
